Data storage and retention

This page describes which data the service stores while you use it and how you can delete it. The contractual terms are in the service description and the customer information leaflet.

The service is hosted within the European Union. Data of each tenant is kept separate from all other tenants.

Conversation history in the chat interface

The chat interface keeps the history of your conversations so that you can return to them. You can delete conversations at any time. See Basic operations.

Recommendations

• Load only documents that agents actually need.
• Restrict datasources with sensitive content to the roles that need them. See Roles and permissions.
• Delete documents from datasources when they are deleted in your source system.
• When users delete a conversation in your own application, also delete its stored state.
