Feedback and approvals

Agents can do more than answer questions. Some agents look up sources, ask before they act, or are protected by rules. This page explains what you see in the chat when that happens.

Below each answer you find two buttons:

ButtonUse it when
Good responseThe answer was correct and helpful
Bad responseThe answer was wrong, incomplete or not helpful

After rating, you can add a reason and a comment. Specific comments, such as “the torque value is wrong” or “the answer refers to the wrong machine”, help most when agents are improved. How feedback is used is described in the service description.

Some agents can act in other systems, for example create a ticket or post a booking. For such actions, the agent can ask for your approval first. A dialog then shows what the agent is about to do and with which values.

  • Check the values carefully.
  • Select confirm to let the agent continue, or cancel to stop the action.
  • If you do not respond within 5 minutes, the action is canceled.

After a cancellation, the agent tells you that the action was not carried out. You can then correct your request.

Agents that search documents show the sources they used. Open a source to check the original text, especially before you act on safety-relevant information.

Your organization can protect agents with rules, called guardrails. If a question or an answer breaks such a rule, you see a short message instead of the answer. Sometimes an answer is shown first and replaced a moment later.

If you think a question was blocked by mistake, rephrase it or contact Support.

While the agent works, short status messages show what it is doing, for example “Searching maintenance records”. When the answer is complete, the status shows how long it took.
