These nodes work with datasources of the Semantic Query Engine. For the concepts, see Knowledge and Search.

Datasource Config

Configuration node with the client credentials for the Semantic Query Engine. All knowledge nodes in a flow can share it. Each node can select a datasource or receive it in msg.payload.datasource.

Manage documents

Use these nodes to build ingestion pipelines.

Node	What it does	Input
List Documents	Lists the document IDs of a datasource, page by page.	Optional msg.payload.cursor for the next page
Upsert Document	Creates or updates documents. Send an array for batches.	msg.payload or msg.payload.documents
Get Document	Returns one document.	msg.payload.doc_id
Delete Document	Deletes one document.	msg.payload.doc_id

Search

Node	What it does	Main settings
Retrieve	Semantic search	search, similarity_top_k
Retrieve with Rerank	Semantic search with a second ranking for higher precision	search, search_context, similarity_top_k, rerank_top_n
Retrieve Hybrid	Semantic and keyword search, good for part numbers and error codes	search, similarity_top_k, sparse_top_k
Filter Datasource	Returns documents by metadata only, without semantic search	metadata_filters, top_k, sort

All search nodes accept an optional metadata_filters expression, for example and(eq(device_model,"CAM-45"),eq(document_type,"manual")). See Search and filters.

If a request fails, the node sends:
